Partnership Executive
Job Description
The Partnership Executive plays a critical role within the Partnership Department, focusing on the coordination and management of game providers and maintaining strong relationships with partners (portfolio). You will be responsible for identifying, researching, and acquiring new game providers, ensuring that they align with Alea’s growth strategy. Key Responsibilities
Buyer
Provider Acquisition:
- Research: Continuously identify potential new game providers that Alea does not yet partner with, evaluating their value and potential for business growth.
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with potential providers, ensuring the best deals and value for the company.
- Prioritisation: Assess and prioritise which providers offer the most significant opportunities for Alea, focusing on contract signatures and integration timelines.
Account Management:
Be the main responsible for the provider portfolio. Which includes:
Relationship Building:
- Act as the primary point of contact for existing game providers, establishing and nurturing long-term relationships to foster collaboration and growth.
Growth:
1) Performance analysis: - Regularly monitor the performance of game providers, identifying opportunities for improvement and addressing any performance issues that arise.
- Ensure that providers’ invoices are accurate, verifying commercial terms and correcting discrepancies. If issues are identified, inform the finance team accordingly.
2) Promotions: - Design and implement promotions in collaboration with providers, aiming to drive traffic, increase player engagement, and enhance activity.
- Analyse the effectiveness of promotions and make necessary adjustments to ensure they contribute positively to growth.
- Continuously expand the variety and range of promotional opportunities for casinos to use, ensuring a robust selection of options.
3) Improve conditions: - Proactively negotiate improved rates with providers to enhance Alea's revenue margins or to provide competitive offerings to clients.
Day to day: - Serve as the first point of contact for provider queries, resolving issues promptly or escalating them as needed.
- Support the Alea commercial team (Account Managers and Sales) by addressing any provider-related questions or concerns.
Portfolio building: - Communicate internally when new providers are added to Alea’s portfolio and ensure a seamless transition for providers to go live across multiple operators.
- Build and maintain updated the providers portfolio from Alea. This includes:
1) Possibility to work in different regulated markets: - Confirm the rate
- Push technical team to create the tech setups
- Discuss with test lab to certify the aggregation
- Inform the commercial team with what is available through Alea.
2) Status of contracts and integrations: - Be on top of any contract that is pending to be signed
- Decide priorities for legal and compliance team.
3) Keep information from providers updated such as: - Restricted markets
- Allowed currencies
- Allowed languages
- License and DD need
- Provider contacts (skype and mail)
- Create and maintain updated documentation of internal procedures related to provider management and integrations, ensuring all processes are clear and efficient.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in business development, account management, or similar roles, ideally in the iGaming industry.
- Proven experience in negotiating and managing provider contracts, with a focus on cost-efficiency and value maximization.
Skills: - Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster long-term partnerships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and make informed recommendations.
Fluency in English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus. - Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with internal teams (legal, compliance, finance) and external partners.
- Organized and able to maintain detailed reports on partners, contracts, and market research.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge: - In-depth understanding of iGaming and online gaming markets, including familiarity with game providers, licensing, and regulatory frameworks.
Good knowledge of licensing and regulation in different jurisdictions is highly desirable.
