Graphic Designer Intern
Role Overview
We are seeking a Graphic Designer Intern to join our collaborative design team in Barcelona. This entry-level role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, creative environment.
In this role, you will focus on producing visual vignettes and asset sets for our game library using existing artwork and templates. The work is detail-oriented and structured, ideal for those who appreciate clean layouts, organization, and consistent, polished visuals. While primarily production-based, this role provides valuable experience to sharpen your eye for layout, accuracy, and visual design.
You will receive guidance and feedback from experienced designers committed to supporting your growth and confidence in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Graphic Asset Creation
Create and assemble graphic vignettes and asset sets for games using provided templates and existing materials.
Ensure all visuals comply with style guidelines and maintain high quality and consistency.
Prepare files carefully for internal use and client delivery.
2. Production Support & Organization
Maintain organized design files to support efficient team workflows.
3. Learning & Collaboration
Collaborate closely with senior team members for guidance and feedback.
Stay curious and eager to learn new tools, design trends, and best practices.
Participate in regular team meetings to stay aligned with project goals.
Continuously develop design skills and confidence through hands-on experience and learning new tools.
Required Qualifications
Education
Currently studying or recently graduated in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Experience
Previous internships or academic projects are advantageous but not required.
Portfolio showcasing a solid understanding of layout, color, and attention to detail (class or personal projects accepted).
Technical Skills
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator.
Sense of composition, spacing, typography, and visual balance.
Understanding of fundamental design principles such as typography, color theory, and layout.
Soft Skills
Naturally organized and detail-oriented.
Strong attention to detail and a good sense of visual aesthetics.
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and improve continuously.
Friendly, dependable, and collaborative.
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Basic proficiency in English (written and spoken).
