Head of Affiliation
About the Role
We are launching a new affiliate business within the iGaming sector and are looking for a Head of Affiliation to lead the project from day one. Reporting directly to the COO, this role will be responsible for defining the affiliate strategy, setting priorities, managing the budget, building and leading the team, and ensuring delivery of revenue growth according to plan.
This is a senior leadership position requiring both strategic vision and hands-on execution. The Head of Affiliation will be the driving force behind traffic acquisition, SEO, paid campaigns, influencer collaborations, and partnership management, with a strong focus on achieving measurable results in a competitive and highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
Define the overall affiliate business strategy in collaboration with the COO.
Develop a detailed roadmap including traffic acquisition, monetization, and brand positioning.
Manage and optimize the budget, ensuring ROI-driven allocation across SEO, paid media, influencer collaborations, and content.
Represent the company at industry conferences, affiliate events, and networking opportunities.
Team Leadership
Build, lead, and mentor a multidisciplinary team (SEO, content, design, performance marketing).
Align cross-functional priorities and ensure accountability for targets and timelines.
Promote a data-driven and results-oriented culture.
Execution & Performance
Oversee SEO strategy (on-site optimization, content, link building, technical SEO).
Drive performance of paid marketing campaigns
Lead influencer and partnership activations to drive qualified traffic.
Manage affiliate relationships with operators, ensuring optimal commercial terms
Monitor traffic, conversion funnels, and KPIs, implementing improvements proactively.
Compliance & Industry Knowledge
Ensure all activities comply with iGaming marketing regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
Stay ahead of market trends, competitor strategies, and new technologies within the affiliate and iGaming industry.
Requirements
Proven experience (5+ years) in iGaming, digital marketing, or affiliate management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience in budget ownership, forecasting, and P&L accountability.
Deep understanding of affiliate marketing models (CPA, RevShare, Hybrid).
Strong expertise in SEO, paid media, content strategy, and conversion optimization.
Solid track record in team building and leadership.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and optimize accordingly; BI tool knowledge (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) is a plus.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategy and execution.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the iGaming sector.
Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
